Calyxra helps Shopify-led DTC teams resolve live measurement problems when Shopify, GA4, Meta, Google, attribution tools and Finance stop agreeing.
We work on one clearly scoped incident at a time.
A typical Measurement Recovery Sprint involves reproducing the mismatch, tracing the root cause across systems, correcting approved configuration or reporting issues and verifying that the problem is actually resolved.
We don't build another dashboard and we don't manage media spend.
Our job is simple: find the cause, fix what is broken and prove the numbers can be trusted again.
About the roleWe're looking for a Measurement Analytics Associate to work directly with the founder on Measurement Recovery Sprints.
You'll help investigate why reports disagree, trace metrics across ecommerce and marketing systems and build the evidence needed to understand what actually happened.
This is a hands-on analytics role. You'll work with real Shopify, GA4, advertising and commercial data rather than only preparing standard reports.
What you'll do- Reproduce discrepancies across Shopify, GA4, Meta, Google and other reporting systems
- Compare and reconcile data from multiple sources
- Investigate tracking, attribution, customer classification and reporting issues
- Build clean reconciliation tables in Excel or Google Sheets
- Use SQL when deeper data investigation is required
- Document metric definitions, data flows and root-cause findings
- Keep clear records of configuration changes and verification results
- Help test whether an implemented fix actually resolved the incident
- Prepare concise incident briefs and client-ready findings
- Work directly with Growth, Finance, analytics, agency and development teams when needed
- Support continuous improvement of Calyxra's internal measurement and investigation processes
Required
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and structured datasets
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Understanding of digital analytics or ecommerce data
- Ability to investigate why two reports show different numbers
- Good written and spoken English
- Ability to explain technical findings clearly
- Comfortable taking ownership of research and investigation tasks
Nice to have
- GA4 experience
- Shopify analytics experience
- Meta Ads or Google Ads reporting experience
- Knowledge of tracking, pixels, server-side events or attribution
- Experience with Klaviyo, Triple Whale, Northbeam, Littledata or similar tools
- Python or additional data tooling
- Previous ecommerce or performance marketing experience
A degree in Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business or a related field is useful but not required. Strong practical skills matter more.
How you'll workCalyxra is a founder-led practice.
You'll work closely with the founder throughout investigations and collaborate with client teams and technical specialists when an incident requires additional implementation work.
You'll get exposure to real measurement problems across ecommerce, paid media, analytics and finance.
This is a good fit for someone who enjoys questions like:
Why does Shopify say one number while Meta and GA4 say something else?
- And doesn't stop at finding the discrepancy, but wants to understand what caused it and whether the fix actually worked.
