Linux Systems Engineer at BairesDev
As a Linux Systems Engineer, you will focus on the design and maintenance of custom embedded Linux distributions. You will play a key role in the intersection of hardware and software, ensuring that low-level components and operating systems are perfectly tuned for specific hardware platforms.
What You'll Do
Build and customize embedded Linux distributions using Yocto Project or Buildroot.
Lead board bring-up activities and manage bootloader configurations with U-Boot.
Develop and optimize kernel modules and device drivers for ARM and x86 architectures.
Collaborate with hardware teams to ensure seamless software integration and system stability.
Maintain and improve the build system for consistent firmware production and delivery.
What We Are Looking For
5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering or Embedded Software Development.
Proven expertise in building and customizing embedded Linux distributions using Yocto Project or Buildroot.
Hands-on experience with board bring-up, U-Boot, and kernel module development.
Proficiency in programming low-level systems and device drivers.
Deep understanding of ARM or x86 architectures and hardware-software integration.
Advanced proficiency in English.
