Junior/Middle DevOps Engineer

About the job About The Role In this role, you will work cross-functionally with a high-performing engineering team in a technology and cybersecurity environment to enhance cloud operations and advance automation initiatives. You will contribute to the delivery of secure, scalable, and resilient solutions that support business growth and innovation. Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient software delivery Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency Support software release and deployment activities across multiple environments Automate operational and infrastructure processes using Python and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools Monitor system health, performance, and availability, proactively addressing issues Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and application-related incidents Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve delivery processes and system reliability Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions Participate in security, compliance, and infrastructure governance initiatives Contribute to disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity processes Continuously improve DevOps practices, operational processes, and platform automation Requirements 1+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related role Practical experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, and Route 53 Experience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps Good knowledge of Linux administration and troubleshooting. Strong scripting and automation skills using Python Experience with version control systems, particularly Git Understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and cloud architecture principles Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within distributed teams Upper-Intermediate English or higher Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK/OpenSearch, or similar) would be a plus SoftServe is an equal opportunity employer.
