Position Overview The Junior Front-End Developer will work closely with senior developers, UI/UX designers, and product teams to build and maintain modern web applications. This role is ideal for an early-career developer with a solid foundation in front-end technologies who is looking to grow their technical skills while contributing to real-world projects. The successful candidate should have a passion for clean code, responsive design, and creating engaging user experiences. Key Responsibilities Front-End Development Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Assist in building reusable UI components and front-end features. Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, responsive web pages. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness. Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and performance. Collaboration Work closely with designers, developers, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions. Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and team meetings. Communicate project progress and technical challenges effectively. Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate APIs and web services. Code Quality Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Follow coding standards and development best practices. Debug and resolve front-end issues efficiently. Participate in testing and quality assurance activities. Continuous Learning Stay up to date with modern front-end technologies and frameworks. Learn new tools, libraries, and development methodologies. Contribute ideas for improving development processes and user experience. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 0–2 years of experience in front-end development or web development. Internship, freelance, academic, or personal project experience is welcomed. Basic understanding of responsive web design principles. Familiarity with Git version control. Required Technical Skills Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+). Basic knowledge of React.js, Vue.js, or Angular. Understanding of responsive frameworks such as Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS. Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON. Basic knowledge of browser developer tools and debugging techniques. Understanding of web accessibility standards and best practices. Preferred Qualifications Experience building personal or academic web projects. Familiarity with TypeScript. Basic understanding of state management libraries. Experience using Figma or collaborating with UI/UX designers. Knowledge of npm, Vite, or Webpack. Exposure to Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
