About The Role
Join a team building and operating cloud-native security and networking solutions for a leading US-based technology company. In this role, you will own the reliability, scalability, and automation of AWS environments, helping improve platform observability, security, and delivery processes while collaborating with experienced engineers on innovative solutions in the cybersecurity domain.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and manage AWS cloud environments to support secure, scalable, and high-performing applications and services
Own infrastructure automation initiatives using Infrastructure as Code practices to improve consistency, reliability, and operational efficiency
Collaborate closely with software engineers, DevOps professionals, and security teams to enhance platform stability and accelerate delivery
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitHub to streamline software deployment and release processes
Create, enhance, and support monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Python, Bash, Grafana, Splunk, and other observability tools
Implement and maintain AWS services including ECS, EKS, EC2, Auto Scaling, Security Groups, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudFront, ElastiCache, Route53, and Lambda
Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, identify root causes, and drive effective resolution while ensuring platform availability
Mentor junior engineers, share technical expertise, promote engineering best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including adopting AI-driven practices and solutions
Requirements
Hands-on experience building, operating, and managing AWS environments in production
Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code frameworks such as Terraform and CloudFormation
Experience with AWS services including ECS, EKS, EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudFront, ElastiCache, Route53, and Lambda
Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting with experience developing monitoring, automation, and operational tooling
Practical experience designing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, or similar technologies
Knowledge of operating system administration, AWS security best practices, compliance requirements, and cloud environment hardening
Experience with monitoring and logging platforms such as Grafana and Splunk
Understanding of software development principles and experience integrating AI practices, agents, or related capabilities
Strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and mentoring skills
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification and Golang experience (as a plus)
