⚙️ Infrastructure Engineer — Zürich (on-site)
An early-stage, well-funded robotics startup is building the intelligent software layer for physical security — enabling robots and sensors to handle the dangerous, critical work humans shouldn't have to.
They're hiring their first dedicated Infrastructure Engineer to build the cloud-and-edge platform from the ground up. You'll define how the company builds, deploys and secures software across its robot fleet for years to come.
What you'll bring:
→ 4+ years building cloud infrastructure from scratch, startup-style
→ Deep AWS or GCP, production Kubernetes (incl. edge distros like K3s)
→ Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform
→ Solid networking and security fundamentals — VPN, TLS, PKI
→ Proficient in Python or Go
→ Bonus: edge / IoT / robot-fleet deployments, OTA updates, on-prem hardened systems
The team: small (team of 4), deeply technical, PhD-level founders who are serious about building but don't take themselves too seriously. High autonomy, real ownership, zero micromanagement.
The setup: on-site in Zürich (full visa + relocation support). This is a hands-on builder role — end-to-end ownership, not maintenance. If you geek out on infrastructure and want foundational impact at pre-seed, this is your kind of problem.
