About the Opportunity: The Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Cloud Engineer will lead the migration of large-scale workloads to GCP for federal clients. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing secure, scalable cloud infrastructure that supports critical government operations. The position contributes to the organization's mission by enabling secure cloud adoption that meets federal security standards and optimizes performance and cost. Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and manage GCP foundational components such as BigQuery, Secret Manager, Vertex AI, VPCs, Cloud Storage, and Cloud IAM. Execute large-scale data migrations to GCP using best practices and migration tools. Implement cloud architectures compliant with federal security requirements and Zero Trust principles. Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize costs. Requirements: 3 to 5+ years of cloud engineering experience, including at least 2 years hands-on with Google Cloud Platform. Proven experience with cloud migrations including lift-and-shift, re-platforming, or refactoring. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (preferably Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes/GKE. Active Top Secret (TS) or Interim TS security clearance.
