General Manager / VBU Leader

Accountabilities: The General Manager / VBU Leader will serve as the business unit owner, responsible for driving overall performance, strategic direction, and sustainable growth across all operational areas. Own the business unit’s profit and loss performance, ensuring achievement of financial targets and growth objectives. Develop and execute business strategies that drive revenue growth, customer expansion, operational efficiency, and long-term success. Lead and align multiple functions including professional services, research and development, maintenance, managed services, sales, marketing, and administrative operations. Establish clear goals, accountability frameworks, and performance metrics to support organizational success. Build and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying opportunities for new business and account expansion. Develop and execute go-to-market strategies that strengthen market presence and accelerate growth. Lead organizational initiatives focused on innovation, operational improvement, and customer value creation. Foster a culture of collaboration, ownership, engagement, and continuous improvement across teams. Partner with executive leadership to define business priorities and ensure alignment with broader organizational objectives. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to identify strategic opportunities. Ensure effective execution of business plans while managing risks and optimizing resources. Requirements: The ideal candidate is an experienced business leader with a strong background in software, security, technology solutions, or related industries, combined with proven success managing teams and delivering business results. Proven experience leading a business unit, division, or similar organization with full operational and financial accountability. Strong track record of driving revenue growth, customer expansion, and successful go-to-market strategies. Experience managing cross-functional teams across areas such as sales, marketing, engineering, professional services, and operations. Background in security technology, enterprise software, SaaS, or related technology environments preferred. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans in a growth-focused organization. Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets, financial performance, and operational metrics. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to inspire teams, create accountability, and drive organizational engagement. Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions. High level of curiosity, adaptability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
