About the job Job Title Full-Stack Software Engineer – Cloud Licensing Platform (React / Ruby on Rails / Kubernetes) 100 % Remote Job Description We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer to join the Cloud Licensing Platform team. In this role, you will design, develop, and support scalable licensing and entitlement solutions that power cloud-based products. You will work across the full technology stack, building intuitive user interfaces while developing robust backend services and cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate has strong experience with React, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and Docker, along with a passion for building secure, reliable, and highly scalable software. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications for licensing, entitlement management, renewals, and customer-facing workflows. Build modern, responsive web applications using React, Redux, or similar front-end frameworks. Develop and enhance backend services using Ruby on Rails. Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas and improve query performance. Develop and integrate RESTful APIs between frontend and backend services. Deploy and maintain applications in cloud-native environments using Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines. Improve application scalability, performance, reliability, and observability. Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, DevOps, Security, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and production support. Create and maintain technical documentation and follow engineering best practices. Required Skills 5+ years of professional software development experience. Strong experience with React, Redux, or similar JavaScript frameworks. Hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails. Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL database design and SQL optimization. Experience developing RESTful APIs. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Experience working with Git and modern software development practices. Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills. Preferred Skills Experience with licensing, entitlement, subscription, or billing platforms. Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM), OAuth, SAML, SCIM, or RBAC. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar). Familiarity with message queues, event-driven architecture, or distributed systems. Exposure to security, compliance, monitoring, and observability tools. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Nice to Have Experience with cloud security and compliance practices. Experience mentoring junior developers or leading technical initiatives. Knowledge of large-scale SaaS platforms and microservices architecture
