The role

The work
- Design and ship end-to-end features across React, Next.js, and Python (Django/FastAPI) services.
- Build and optimize background workers and Redis-backed task queues for critical operations.
- Contribute to cloud infrastructure planning (AWS, GCP, Azure) and CI/CD strategy.
- Collaborate directly with founders, product, and design on high-impact, customer-facing features.
- Mentor junior engineers, shaping best practices and contributing to team growth.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, shipping products end-to-end.
- Proven track record building and running production applications with React and Next.js.
- Strong Python backend skills (Django or FastAPI preferred) and solid database fundamentals.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Fluency with background workers, task queues (e.g., Celery, RQ), and Redis for caching or job queues.
