The Full-Stack Engineer will join a team focused on modernising digital platforms and transitioning to a scalable, cloud-based environment. The role involves a hands-on mix of development, integrations, and platform modernisation. Key responsibilities include developing web applications, building and maintaining APIs, and supporting ongoing migration projects. The technical environment includes React, Node.js, TypeScript, and Azure services, specifically Azure Functions. The engineer will work closely with business and technical stakeholders and external technology partners to translate requirements into practical solutions.

I’m working with a well established organisation on a Full-Stack Engineer opportunity, joining a team that is modernising its digital platforms and moving towards a more scalable, cloud-based technology environment. It’s a hands-on role with a good mix of development, integrations and platform modernisation, with the opportunity to have a genuine impact on how their digital estate evolves over the coming years.
Your experience
Your experience
- 4+ years’ commercial experience in full-stack software development.
- Strong experience with React, TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience with Node.js and building/working with REST APIs.
- Good understanding of Azure and cloud-based services, ideally including Azure Functions.
- Comfortable working with integrations and connecting different applications and platforms.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including Git, CI/CD and automated testing.
- Experience working on platform upgrades, migrations or modernisation projects would be beneficial.
- Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- You don't need to have every technology listed — strong core development skills and the ability to learn are more important.
- Develop and enhance modern web applications and digital experiences.
- Build, consume and maintain APIs and integrations between business systems.
- Support the ongoing migration and modernisation of existing digital platforms.
- Work with Azure services to monitor, manage and improve integrations.
- Develop clean, maintainable and secure code, with appropriate automated testing.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, releases and production support.
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external technology partners across different platforms.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing systems, processes and the overall digital experience.
