Full-Stack Engineer (AI-Native / Backend-Led)
Location: London, Hybrid
Salary: Up to £100,000 + Discretionary Bonus
We're working with a well-funded, founder-led startup in the sports-tech space. The co-founders are domain insiders backed by specialists in AI and SaaS, building next-generation intelligent content infrastructure. This is an AI-native engineering position - not a standard full-stack role. The expectation is that you operate at the level of architecture, agent management, and high-trust technical ownership, with AI tooling embedded into how you actually work.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery across backend, frontend
- Design and build real-time data pipelines and event-driven systems at scale
- Agentic Development - Prompt coding
- Contribute to architecture decisions in a fast-moving, iterative engineering culture
Key Requirements
- Polyglot mindset - Java 21 is the core backend; experience across Node.js, Python or Go welcomed
- Agentic Development, prompt coding, Claude Code
- Engineering rigour: clean, tested, documented code with performance and security in mind
Desirable
- Domain experience in sports tech, live event data, or video streaming
- Strong background in data architecture and systems design
