About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer (RDTE) to join our dynamic team in Dahlgren, VA. This role is integral to supporting our upcoming proposal efforts and involves managing the entire hardware and software lifecycle, from initial planning through deployment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud environments, particularly Azure and AWS, and possess the technical expertise to diagnose, resolve, and implement solutions for complex customer issues. As a Full Stack Developer, you will act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for internal teams and clients, ensuring the successful development, integration, and deployment of web-based applications that leverage data, analytics, and reporting components. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology projects within a collaborative and innovative environment, contributing directly to national security initiatives. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a high school diploma, with a bachelor’s degree preferred. Candidates should have between three to five years of professional experience in software development and cloud environments. Proven expertise in diagnosing and resolving technical issues, particularly within Azure and AWS cloud platforms, is essential. Candidates must demonstrate strong knowledge of software development best practices, including automated testing (unit, functional, performance, acceptance), and proficiency in managing code repositories using Gitlab or similar tools. Familiarity with web technologies such as JavaScript, Vue.js, Python Flask, Java Spring, and HTML is highly desirable. Additional experience with Kubernetes, containerization (Docker), IaaS solutions, networking fundamentals, and cloud security systems will be considered advantageous. Excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in customer-facing roles are critical for success in this position. U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance are mandatory. Responsibilities Manage and resolve customer problems efficiently through diagnosis, resolution, or implementation of investigation tools, with a focus on cloud environments such as Azure and AWS. Act as a technical consultant and subject matter expert for internal teams and clients, providing guidance on deployment obstacles and technical solutions. Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software code for web interface applications that integrate data, analytics, and reporting components. Create and execute automated tests, including unit, functional, performance, and acceptance testing, to ensure software reliability and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure solutions, including Kubernetes and containerization strategies. Configure and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure components, ensuring optimal deployment and operation in hybrid or on-premises environments. Maintain version control and manage project workflows using Gitlab, including CI/CD pipelines. Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system stability and performance. Engage with customers directly to understand their needs, provide technical support, and ensure satisfaction with delivered solutions. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve development processes and solutions.
