About The Role We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our team for an upcoming proposal effort in Dahlgren, VA. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the entire hardware and software lifecycle, from planning and deployment to ongoing support. This position involves working in cloud environments such as Azure and AWS, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and developing high-quality software solutions. The Full Stack Developer will act as a subject matter expert and consultant, providing guidance to internal stakeholders in Engineering, IT, and our clients to resolve deployment challenges and streamline operations. The role requires a strong understanding of web technologies, cloud infrastructure, and automation tools to ensure the delivery of reliable, scalable, and secure software systems. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a High School Diploma, with a Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Candidates should have three to five (3-5) years of relevant experience in software development, cloud environments, and technical troubleshooting. Proven expertise in diagnosing and resolving customer issues within Azure and AWS cloud platforms is essential. Experience acting as a consultant and SME in technical deployments is highly valued. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in developing and maintaining high-quality code, automated testing, and integrating data analytics and reporting components. Familiarity with Gitlab for project management, version control, and CI/CD pipelines is required. Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities—both written and verbal—are critical for success in this role. Preferred qualifications include hands-on experience with web technologies such as Vue.js, Python Flask, Java Spring, and HTML, as well as knowledge of Kubernetes, IaaS solutions, networking fundamentals, Docker, and Typescript. Responsibilities The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for managing and resolving customer problems through effective diagnosis and resolution strategies, utilizing investigation tools to enhance productivity within cloud environments. The role involves acting as a technical consultant for internal teams and clients, providing expertise to overcome deployment obstacles and optimize system performance. Developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software code for web interface applications that integrate data, analytics, and reporting components is a core duty. The developer will also be tasked with creating and executing automated tests, including unit, functional, performance, and acceptance testing, to ensure software reliability and quality. Additionally, the role requires configuring and troubleshooting Kubernetes infrastructure, managing cloud infrastructure, and supporting system virtualization and hybrid cloud solutions. The candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, improve deployment processes, and ensure security compliance.
