Accountabilities: The Founding Business Development Representative will be responsible for building pipeline, creating sales opportunities, and helping establish scalable business development processes. This role requires strong execution, creativity, resilience, and the ability to thrive in an early-stage environment with significant autonomy. Generate qualified sales opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, inbound lead follow-up, and multi-channel prospecting. Own top-of-funnel pipeline generation activities and consistently deliver against meeting and revenue development targets. Leverage existing outbound systems, sales tools, automation platforms, and prospecting workflows to maximize outreach efficiency. Create personalized, compelling messaging and cold email campaigns designed to engage target prospects. Research potential customers, identify opportunities, and develop creative approaches to reach decision-makers. Follow up with inbound leads and convert initial interest into qualified meetings. Monitor outreach performance, test new strategies, and continuously improve conversion rates. Contribute to the creation and refinement of go-to-market playbooks, processes, and sales best practices. Collaborate closely with leadership and future sales team members to support company growth. Take ownership of results while helping shape the foundation of a scalable business development function. Requirements: The ideal candidate is an ambitious and self-driven sales professional who enjoys building relationships, experimenting with new approaches, and taking ownership in a fast-moving environment. They should demonstrate strong communication skills, discipline, and a desire to grow within a high-growth company. 6 months to 1 year of experience in a BDR, SDR, sales development, or similar outbound sales role. Proven ability to book meetings, achieve activity goals, and deliver measurable sales results. Experience using modern sales tools, automation platforms, CRM systems, and outbound prospecting techniques. Strong written communication skills with the ability to create effective and personalized sales messaging. High learning agility, strong work ethic, and motivation to achieve ambitious goals. Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of outcomes. Resourceful mindset with the ability to adapt quickly in an early-stage environment. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple prospecting activities simultaneously. Previous startup experience, experience in high-growth sales organizations, or a background requiring discipline and persistence is a plus. Benefits: Competitive base salary of $70,000–$80,000 per year. On-target earnings (OTE) of $110,000–$120,000 with uncapped commission potential.
