(F / M) Zuora Billing & Revenue Solution Architect – Full remote

About the job Position We're currently looking for a candidate for our client in the pharmaceutical industry. This is a fully remote contract opportunity focused on enhancing and scaling an already live Zuora environment rather than implementing the platform from scratch. As a Solution Architect, you will act as the key technical expert, supporting the evolution of Zuora Billing and Zuora Revenue while ensuring business continuity. You will work closely with Finance, Controllership, and IT teams, translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions and serving as the highest escalation point for complex billing and revenue recognition challenges. Tasks Waiting For You: Design, configure, and deploy new pricing models, product catalogs, and revenue recognition rules within Zuora Billing and Zuora Revenue Expand and optimize an existing production Zuora environment while ensuring business continuity Act as the Tier 3 escalation point for complex billing, rating, and revenue recognition issues Translate Finance and Controllership requirements into scalable Zuora configurations Ensure seamless integrations and data flow between Zuora and enterprise platforms such as CRM and ERP systems Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to billing, revenue, integrations, and overall solution architecture Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to support the continuous evolution of the Zuora platform Welcome: CPA certification or a formal accounting background Experience working in complex billing and revenue management environments Experience scaling and evolving an existing Zuora platform Previous experience collaborating with cross-functional Finance and IT teams You Will Be Successful In This Role If: You have at least 4 years of hands-on experience with Zuora Billing and Zuora Revenue in production environments You have strong expertise in Zuora architecture and optimizing existing implementations You have a solid understanding of ASC 606 and IFRS 15 revenue recognition principles and related business processes You have experience working with APIs, middleware, and troubleshooting complex integration and data flow issues You have worked with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, or SAP You can effectively communicate complex technical concepts to Finance and Controllership stakeholders You hold a verifiable Zuora Solution Architect certification focused on Billing and/or Revenue Our Recruitment Process Interview with our Recruiter -> Interview with our Business Manager -> Client Meeting In justified cases, after the interview with the Recruiter, we introduce an additional technical verification step Recommendation System Do you know someone who might be interested in this offer?
