Accountabilities: The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating field operations, optimizing technician schedules, and ensuring accurate communication between customers and service teams. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to prioritize urgent requests, and confidence managing fast-paced daily workflows. Build and manage daily technician schedules and routing using field service management platforms. Review incoming service requests and assign technicians based on urgency, skill set, availability, and location. Monitor technician status and location in real time to adjust schedules, manage delays, and respond to emergencies. Provide customers with accurate arrival estimates and proactively communicate schedule updates. Resolve same-day scheduling conflicts, cancellations, and emergency dispatch needs. Maintain accurate job information, technician assignments, and status updates within operational systems. Ensure technicians receive complete job details and relevant information before arriving on-site. Identify recurring scheduling challenges and escalate operational issues to management. Support continuous improvement of dispatch processes and service coordination workflows. Requirements: The ideal candidate has experience in dispatching, scheduling, or field service coordination and can effectively manage multiple priorities in a customer-focused environment. They should be comfortable working independently, communicating clearly, and making quick operational decisions. 2+ years of dispatching experience, preferably within plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or other home service industries. Experience using field service management or scheduling platforms such as HouseCall Pro, ServiceTitan, Jobber, or similar tools. Strong verbal and written English communication skills, especially under time-sensitive conditions. Ability to manage high volumes of calls, messages, and scheduling requests while maintaining accuracy. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and adapt quickly. Comfortable working with technicians, customers, and internal teams in a remote environment. Ability to monitor operational details and maintain accurate records. Nice-to-have experience includes GPS or fleet tracking tools and familiarity with basic plumbing or HVAC terminology. Benefits: Compensation of up to $1,450/month depending on experience. Guaranteed annual bonus equivalent to one month of salary. Performance-based annual bonus opportunity of up to 1.5x one month’s salary based on quarterly performance.
