DevOps & Platform Engineer (Lead)

About the job We are looking for an experienced DevOps & Platform Engineer (Lead) to join the core team of a high-scale, mission-critical platform. Self-motivated, quick learner, and proactive individual with a can-do attitude. Strong English communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Responsibilities: • Design, build, and maintain On-Prem and Cloud-based infrastructure • Run and optimize multi-environment infrastructure (development, staging, production) with clear operational processes • Manage and operate Kubernetes clusters at scale • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines • Support microservices architecture • Implement security best practices • Monitoring, logging, and alerting • Improve performance, scalability, and system resilience • Troubleshoot complex production issues across networking, Kubernetes, cloud services, and application layers • Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve delivery processes Requirements (Must Have): • 7+ years of hands-on DevOps & Platform experience • Strong experience with AWS (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM) • Proven experience with Kubernetes and Helm • Solid experience with Docker and containerized environments • Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools • Experience working on mission-critical systems (payments, fintech, banking, gaming or similar) • Ability to operate and troubleshoot production systems under pressure • Fluent English (C1 level) Nice to Have: • Experience leading complex infrastructure projects (e.g. cloud migration) • Experience designing and implementing disaster recovery strategies • Strong understanding of networking, security, and scaling • Ukrainian – advantage (B1 level)
