About the job DevOps Engineer - Platform Engineering Remote Working | Day rate: £500 per day (Outside IR35) Join a growing Platform Engineering team and play a key role in designing, building and supporting secure, scalable cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Design and support secure, scalable, highly available and cost-optimised cloud infrastructure. Implement and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies. Monitor and maintain platform availability, performance and reliability. Deploy and manage cloud technologies within Microsoft Azure environments. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver platform improvements. Support Agile delivery practices using Scrum and Kanban frameworks. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and platform operations Requirements Commercial experience developing and deploying Infrastructure-as-Code solutions. Strong knowledge of Terraform, YAML and ARM templates. Experience creating, monitoring and managing resources in Microsoft Azure. Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) principles. Experience building and managing Kubernetes-based services. Knowledge of containerisation and Helm chart management. Strong communication skills with a proactive and collaborative approach. Desirable Experience Using AI tools to improve engineering productivity and software delivery. Cost optimisation and FinOps practices. Understanding of C# .NET development environments. Experience with PowerShell, Bash, Python, Bicep, Linux (Ubuntu), observability platforms and business continuity principles. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
