Position Details: Location: Poland (Remote/Hybrid from Warsaw, Krakow, or Katowice) Contract Type: B2B or Contract of Employment (UoP) Working Hours: 15:00 – 23:00 CET (Canadian business hours) Job Description: As a DevOps Engineer, you will architect and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure for the banking sector. Your primary focus will be leveraging AWS CDK for advanced Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate enterprise environments and deploy Cloud Contact Center and IVR platforms. Key Responsibilities: Cloud Infrastructure: Design and deploy enterprise-grade infrastructure utilizing AWS CDK as the primary IaC framework. Contact Center Automation: Deploy and manage Cloud Contact Center/IVR platforms (e.g., Amazon Connect, Genesys Cloud). CI/CD: Build and optimize robust pipelines for seamless, repeatable deployments. Serverless Architecture: Implement and maintain serverless workflows (AWS Lambda, API Gateway). Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to design architecture and troubleshoot integration bottlenecks. Security & Optimization: Monitor AWS resources and ensure compliance with strict financial sector standards. Requirements: Expert AWS CDK & IaC: Strong hands-on expertise with AWS CDK and enterprise cloud management (including Terraform or Ansible). DevOps & IVR: Proven experience deploying and automating contact center solutions (Amazon Connect, Genesys Cloud, etc.). CI/CD Automation: Experience building pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. Communication: Fluent English to lead technical discussions with international teams. Availability: Must be able to work the 15:00 – 23:00 CET shift. Nice to Have: Background in Banking, FinTech, or highly regulated industries. Proficiency in TypeScript or Python for AWS CDK. Deep experience with serverless development (Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway).
