As a DevOps Engineer specializing in Kubernetes, you will play a key role in operating, securing and continuously evolving their cloud infrastructure.
You will work on a large, business-critical Kubernetes environment, driving automation, improving deployment processes, and ensuring their platform remains stable, scalable, and highly available.
Your work will directly contribute to making our products faster, more reliable and easier to operate.
Your responsibilities
- Take ownership of the setup, administration, and continuous development of large-scale Kubernetes clusters
- Design and implement automated infrastructure and deployment processes within our cloud environment
- Develop and optimize modern CI/CD pipelines for reliable and scalable software delivery
- Automate recurring operational tasks and infrastructure processes using Infrastructure as Code
- Build and improve monitoring, observability and alerting across our infrastructure
- Develop technical concepts, operational documentation, and standards for the continued evolution of the platform
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve performance, security and automation.
Your profile
- Several years of professional experience in a DevOps or Platform Engineering position
- Strong hands-on experience administering Kubernetes clusters, ideally in larger or business-critical environments
- Experience with Rancher and Kubernetes autoscaling is a plus
- Solid knowledge of Linux, Bash and shell scripting
- Practical experience with CI/CD and DevOps automation
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform and/or Ansible
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Azure or Hetzner Cloud
- Hands-on experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana and Elasticsearch
