About the job Overview Contribute to the reliability, scalability, and security of AWS-based infrastructure as a Senior DevOps Engineer. Collaborate with software engineers and security teams to develop cloud-native platforms supporting mission-critical applications. Engage in technical leadership opportunities while remaining hands-on with modern DevOps technologies. Design and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS services and Infrastructure as Code methodologies. Enhance CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure provisioning and operational workflows. Support disaster recovery planning, SOC 2 compliance, and cloud security best practices. Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues. Participate in discussions on platform architecture, scalability, and security improvements. Key Responsibilities & Duties Design, build, and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform and other IaC tools. Develop and manage containerized applications on Amazon ECS or Kubernetes platforms. Enhance CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions to streamline deployment processes. Automate provisioning, monitoring, and operational workflows to optimize efficiency. Ensure reliability, performance, and cost optimization of AWS services such as EC2 and RDS. Support disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives through planning and testing. Implement cloud security measures and support SOC 2 compliance efforts. Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment processes and developer experiences. Participate in technical discussions to enhance platform architecture and scalability. Job Requirements Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field is required. 6-8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering. Proficiency with AWS services, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code methodologies. Experience with containerized workloads using ECS or Kubernetes platforms. Strong skills in building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools. Knowledge of disaster recovery, high availability, and production operations. Experience supporting SOC 2 compliance and implementing cloud security best practices. Preferred qualifications include AWS certifications and experience with AI-driven development tools. Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
