About The Role We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer (m/w/d) to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing and enhancing our cloud infrastructure, ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of our systems. Your responsibilities will include operating and developing Kubernetes clusters, implementing GitOps practices with ArgoCD, and managing deployments using Helm. You will play a key role in automating our CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and Groovy, managing infrastructure as code with Terraform, and containerizing applications with Docker. Additionally, you will oversee monitoring and observability using Prometheus and Grafana, and work across multiple cloud providers such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, and OpenShift. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team on modern, high-impact projects that drive the company's digital transformation initiatives. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in DevOps practices, with hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure management and automation. You should have proficiency in Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, and Terraform, along with solid knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins. Experience with GitOps methodologies, monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana, and configuration management solutions like Ansible or Puppet is essential. You should demonstrate excellent communication skills in both German (C1/C2 level) and English, with the ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams. A proactive mindset, problem-solving skills, and adaptability to new technologies and processes are crucial for success in this role. A relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Responsibilities Operate and continuously improve Kubernetes clusters to ensure high availability and performance. Implement GitOps practices utilizing ArgoCD to streamline deployment workflows. Manage application deployments using Helm charts, ensuring consistency and repeatability. Set up and maintain monitoring and observability systems with Prometheus and Grafana to track system health and performance. Automate CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and Groovy, reducing manual intervention and increasing deployment efficiency. Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, enabling scalable and repeatable infrastructure provisioning. Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate them within Kubernetes environments. Handle configuration management tasks with Ansible or Puppet to maintain system consistency. Collaborate with various cloud providers, including AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, and OpenShift, to deploy and manage cloud-based solutions.
