About The Role
As a DevOps Engineer (m/w/d) at TRIOLOGY GmbH, you will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing the company's infrastructure and deployment pipelines. Your primary responsibilities will include operating and developing Kubernetes clusters, implementing GitOps practices with ArgoCD, and managing deployment processes using Helm. You will be instrumental in automating and optimizing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and Groovy, ensuring robust monitoring and observability with Prometheus and Grafana, and managing infrastructure as code with Terraform. Your expertise will also extend to containerization and orchestration using Docker, configuration management with Ansible or Puppet, and collaborating with various cloud providers such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, and OpenShift. This role offers a dynamic environment where your technical skills will directly influence the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of our infrastructure and applications.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with a strong foundation in modern DevOps practices and a passion for technology. Essential qualifications include experience with Kubernetes, GitOps tools like ArgoCD, Helm, Prometheus, and Grafana. Proficiency in Jenkins CI, Terraform, Docker, and scripting languages such as Bash and Groovy is required. Knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet, as well as experience working with cloud platforms including AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, and OpenShift, is highly desirable. Candidates should also have a good understanding of network management and certificate handling, ideally with familiarity with HashiCorp Vault. While not all skills need to be mastered from the outset, a proactive attitude towards learning and development is essential. Fluency in German and English is preferred, along with excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities
Operate, monitor, and continuously improve Kubernetes clusters to ensure high availability and performance.
Implement and maintain GitOps workflows using ArgoCD to streamline deployment processes.
Manage application deployments with Helm, ensuring consistency and repeatability across environments.
Develop and maintain monitoring solutions with Prometheus and Grafana to provide real-time insights into system health and performance.
Automate CI/CD pipelines leveraging Jenkins and Groovy scripts to accelerate development cycles and improve reliability.
Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, enabling scalable and repeatable environment provisioning.
Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate their deployment within Kubernetes environments.
Configure and automate system management tasks using Ansible or Puppet.
Collaborate with cloud providers such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, and OpenShift to deploy and manage cloud infrastructure.
Ensure network security and manage certificates effectively, utilizing tools like HashiCorp Vault for secret management.
Work closely with development teams to implement best practices and support continuous deployment and integration efforts.
