About this role

As a DevOps Engineer at Ciklum, you will join a cross-functional team working on cutting-edge projects to improve retrieval quality, context precision, and grounding frameworks for AI systems. Your responsibilities will include setting up secure, isolated containerized environments on Azure, automating CI/CD pipelines for Python code deployment, instrumenting observability tools for RAG pipelines, managing PostgreSQL and pgvector database clusters, and supporting phase-gate deployments. You will work within a secure Azure DevOps and Azure cloud perimeter to ensure data sovereignty and zero external data leaks. The role is embedded within Ciklum’s global delivery centers in Wrocław and Gdańsk, with a focus on enterprise environments and MLOps infrastructure.

About the job Job Description Ciklum is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team full-time in Poland. About The Role As a DevOps Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. Operating under an embedded Co/Labs model across our Poland or India delivery units, our team is tasked with significantly improving retrieval quality, context precision, and grounding frameworks to minimize code generation hallucinations. The central infrastructure milestone for this role is establishing a secure, air-gapped MLOps foundation and continuous code delivery pipeline. All deliverables must be deployed directly within the client’s secure Azure DevOps and Azure cloud perimeter, ensuring absolute data sovereignty and zero external data leaks. Responsibilities Secure Environment Setup: Configure and maintain secure, isolated containerized execution environments on Azure infrastructure to guarantee zero external data flows CI/CD Pipeline Automation: Build and automate robust continuous integration and deployment pipelines inside Azure DevOps to deliver clean Python code directly to the client's repositories RAG Pipeline Observability: Instrument comprehensive logging, tracing, and tracing monitors to track vector store query latencies, token usage, and pipeline performance boundaries Data Layer Management: Oversee the operational runtime infrastructure, immutable configuration snapshots, and access control policies for the PostgreSQL and pgvector database clusters Phase-Gate Deployment Support: Provide infrastructure validation metrics and test-environment tracking data required to clear formal project phase-gate reviews Requirements Professional Background: 3+ years of commercial experience working as a DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or MLOps Engineer inside enterprise environments Cloud & CI/CD Mastery: Proven expertise configuring secure identity access, private networks, and resource routing inside the Azure ecosystem, alongside advanced automated pipeline creation in Azure DevOps Container Isolation & IaC: Direct, practical experience with Docker container setup, volume persistence management, and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform Observability Tooling: Strong familiarity building production runtime dashboards and alert structures using Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, or dedicated LLM tracing frameworks Automation Scripting: High proficiency in Bash and Python scripting for pipeline optimizations and system configuration automation Location Flexibility: Open to engineering talent physically based in Poland to align with our global delivery centers What`s in it for you?
