About The Role We are actively seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Nashville, TN. This role is pivotal in supporting cloud platforms, automating deployment processes, enhancing system reliability, and embedding security practices throughout the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Azure and cloud infrastructure, with hands-on experience in automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud security measures. The DevOps Engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, infrastructure, and security to implement best practices, optimize system performance, and ensure compliance with security standards. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in cloud and DevOps engineering, with experience in Azure and/or AWS cloud management. Essential qualifications include proficiency in Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD pipelines, along with expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform. Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash are required, along with a solid understanding of Linux administration and Git version control. Preferred experience includes working with Azure DevOps Pipelines, AKS, cloud migrations, and implementing DevSecOps tools such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, or Snyk. Knowledge of cloud security controls, vulnerability management, and monitoring tools like Splunk, Datadog, or Azure Monitor is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery processes. They will automate cloud infrastructure deployment and configuration management to ensure scalable and reliable environments. Managing Azure and/or AWS cloud environments, the engineer will support Kubernetes and containerized applications, ensuring optimal performance and security. Implementing security controls within development and deployment workflows is a key aspect of this role, alongside continuous monitoring of system performance, availability, and security posture. The engineer will partner with various teams to enhance system reliability, reduce operational risks, and ensure compliance with security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, or ISO 27001. Additionally, they will troubleshoot issues, support cloud migrations, and contribute to the development of security policies and best practices to safeguard organizational assets.
