Accountabilities: The professional will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining applications while ensuring performance, scalability, and alignment with project requirements. The role requires collaboration across technology teams, participation in architectural discussions, and continuous improvement of development practices. Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and related frameworks, ensuring quality, reliability, and scalability. Design, code, test, and troubleshoot applications according to technical requirements and business needs. Build and integrate REST APIs, database solutions, and distributed systems. Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to the definition of technical solutions. Apply DevOps practices, including continuous integration, delivery processes, and version control management. Work with container technologies and cloud environments to support modern application architectures. Participate in agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects. Monitor application performance and support improvements in infrastructure and operational processes. Requirements: The ideal candidate should have solid experience in Java development, backend technologies, and modern software engineering practices. The role requires technical knowledge, adaptability, and the ability to work collaboratively in complex technology environments. Bachelor’s degree completed in technology, computer science, engineering, or related fields. Experience as a Java developer working on scalable and robust applications. Strong knowledge of Java, including frameworks such as Spring Boot, Quarkus, Maven, EJB, and WebLogic. Experience with backend and frontend development technologies, including Node.js, Angular, Bootstrap, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. Knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, and Hive. Experience with REST API development and integration. Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and Argo. Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, and Rancher. Experience with cloud platforms such as IBM Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or AWS. Understanding of monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana. Experience with Git-based version control and code management practices. Knowledge of agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, XP, Lean, or similar frameworks. Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, collaboration skills, and ownership mindset.
