Accountabilities: The Data Platform & Cloud Engineer will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining cloud data platforms while ensuring reliability, scalability, and operational excellence. Build and continuously evolve data platforms used by global teams and business stakeholders. Develop reusable frameworks, libraries, and engineering components to improve productivity and consistency. Automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices. Design and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions focused on scalability, security, and governance. Ensure platform observability through monitoring, logging, and performance optimization practices. Contribute to architecture evolution and promote best practices in cloud and data engineering. Support the adoption of infrastructure-as-code approaches to improve automation and reliability. Collaborate with technical teams to deliver secure and efficient data solutions. Improve platform processes through continuous optimization and innovation. Requirements: The ideal candidate is a cloud and data engineering professional with experience building scalable platforms and working with modern DevOps practices. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services. Experience working with Databricks in cloud-based data environments. Strong knowledge of Python programming. Experience with Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or similar technologies. Experience designing, implementing, or supporting cloud data platforms. Understanding of data engineering concepts, architecture, and platform management. Ability to work effectively in global and collaborative environments. Professional English proficiency for communication with international teams. Preferred qualifications: Experience with Unity Catalog. Knowledge of Delta Live Tables (DLT). Experience with Azure DevOps. Familiarity with Qlik Replicate or other Change Data Capture (CDC) tools. Experience implementing pipeline observability solutions. Knowledge of FinOps principles and cloud cost optimization. Azure or Databricks certifications.
