Accountabilities: The Cyber Threat Hunter will be responsible for proactively identifying cyber threats, improving detection capabilities, and strengthening security operations through advanced analysis and automation. Develop and implement agentic-based threat hunting solutions using automation and machine learning approaches to identify anomalies and potential compromises. Build scalable systems and processes that enhance the detection and investigation of advanced cyber threats. Create, implement, and continuously improve hypothesis-driven hunting rules to identify sophisticated attack techniques. Conduct continuous compromise assessments across systems, assets, and identities to detect security breaches. Analyze security events, logs, and network activity to identify, investigate, and respond to potential threats. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams and external stakeholders to share intelligence and improve threat response capabilities. Develop and maintain security tools and automation workflows to support proactive threat hunting operations. Monitor emerging cybersecurity trends, vulnerabilities, and attacker techniques to continuously improve hunting methodologies. Contribute to the evolution of security processes, defensive strategies, and operational maturity. Communicate findings, recommendations, and security insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Requirements: The ideal candidate brings strong cybersecurity experience, advanced threat hunting skills, and the ability to combine technical expertise with analytical problem-solving. Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in cybersecurity operations, threat hunting, or related security roles. Strong experience in incident response, threat detection, and proactive security investigations. Technical expertise in cybersecurity automation, agentic capabilities, and modern threat hunting methodologies. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong knowledge of cyber threats, vulnerabilities, security events, and threat intelligence analysis. Experience with programming languages such as Python, Go, or similar for developing security tools and automation solutions. Experience with endpoint protection platforms such as Microsoft Defender and CrowdStrike Falcon. Experience working with SIEM technologies and security monitoring environments. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
