Cloud Platform Engineer / Mid Level / Remote

About the job A global software company that develops enterprise content management and publishing solutions is seeking two Cloud Platform Engineers to join its growing DevOps organization. This is a full-time, 100% remote opportunity within the United States focused on the continued modernization of a SaaS platform running in AWS. The environment includes AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), Infrastructure as Code, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Grafana, and Prometheus. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys building and improving cloud platforms rather than simply maintaining them. You'll have the opportunity to work on a long-term cloud modernization initiative, partner closely with software engineering teams, and help drive scalability, reliability, and operational excellence across a critical production environment. The team is small, collaborative, and gives engineers meaningful ownership over platform decisions and improvements. Required Skills & Experience 3-5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering Strong hands-on AWS experience Experience supporting Kubernetes/EKS environments in production Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or similar tools Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines Experience working with Docker and containerized applications Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus Strong troubleshooting skills within production environments Experience improving platform reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency Desired Skills & Experience Experience with GitOps practices and ArgoCD Experience with GitHub Actions TypeScript experience Experience supporting SaaS platforms Exposure to Site Reliability Engineering principles What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown 40% AWS & Cloud Infrastructure 25% Kubernetes & Containers 20% Infrastructure as Code & Automation 15% CI/CD, Monitoring & Observability Daily Responsibilities 80% Hands On 20% Team Collaboration The Offer Bonus eligible You Will Receive The Following Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Vacation Time Stock Options Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
