The Opportunity
We are seeking a hands-on Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in Kubernetes and modern CI/CD practices. In this role, you will design, implement, and operate secure, scalable, and highly available cloud-native platforms that support multiple engineering teams.
You will help manage the full lifecycle of containerized applications; from image build and deployment through observability, performance validation, and reliability improvements, while contributing to a resilient, well-governed platform environment.

Role:
Provision and manage cloud and on-premises infrastructure using declarative automation and configuration management platforms
Build and optimize automated delivery pipelines following Infrastructure as Code and GitOps methodologies
Perform operating system administration, diagnostic troubleshooting, and security hardening across Linux-based systems
Implement full-stack observability solutions covering metrics, tracing, and visualization using industry-standard monitoring tooling
Develop and maintain deployment patterns and templating strategies leveraging package management and configuration management tooling
Support stateful workloads including relational databases, in-memory data stores, and distributed messaging platforms
Design, deploy, and manage production-grade container orchestration environments, including workload scheduling, resource governance, network segmentation, traffic controls, and role-based access management
Build secure, hardened container images and oversee versioning and promotion workflows across environment tiers
Maintain comprehensive documentation covering architecture decisions, runbooks, disaster recovery procedures, and infrastructure lifecycle management
Conduct load testing, fault injection, performance tuning, and capacity planning to ensure platform reliability and scalability
Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous reliability improvement efforts
Required Experience / Knowledge, and ability:
3-7+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, or DevOps/SRE related roles
Proficiency in Python or a similar scripting languageHands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments to include multi-tenant configurations
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Experience working with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
Strong containerization knowledge and security best practices
Solid Linux administration and troubleshooting skills
Understanding of networking, Kubernetes security, and deployment strategies
Experience with load testing and performance analysis
Ability to work effectively across technical teams in a collaborative environment

Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States
Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Salary range: $115k - $125k, based on experience
Bonus eligibility available
Remote (US) position with occasional travel as needed
