About The Role We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team supporting and developing our global IT platforms. In this role, you will be integral to maintaining the stability, security, and efficiency of our cloud and on-premise environments. You will work closely with the On-Premise and Cloud Operations team to ensure seamless platform operation, high service availability, and rapid incident resolution. Your expertise will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including tooling, automation, and process optimization. The ideal candidate will be a multi-skilled and adaptable engineer, capable of supporting operational delivery while seeking to deepen their technical expertise in specific areas. Qualifications Preferred experience using Citrix XenServer, Virtual Apps, and Desktops. Proven experience with Identity and Access technologies, such as Okta and Entra ID. Knowledge of Cloud technologies such as M365, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Experience using Exchange Server/Online and Cisco ESA is desirable. Commercial experience with Active Directory and Group Policy management. Understanding of Ivanti UWM (Unified Workspace Management). Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk. Experience in scripting with PowerShell is preferred. Knowledge of building and managing access and monitoring technologies, such as Net2 and CCTV systems. Responsibilities Installing, managing, and monitoring highly available Citrix infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Managing and monitoring mail services, including Exchange and Cisco ESA, to maintain seamless communication channels. Overseeing identity and access management using Okta and Entra ID, ensuring secure and efficient user authentication processes. Optimising the M365 environment to meet evolving business needs and enhance productivity. Troubleshooting complex technical issues across platforms and driving them to resolution efficiently. Developing and maintaining PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency. Managing Group Policy and personalisation settings to ensure consistent user experiences and security compliance. Maintaining comprehensive documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures, and sharing knowledge with team members. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance platform stability, security, and automation capabilities.
