About the job Job Title: Cloud Developer (AWS) Location: Remote (U.S.) Duration: 12+ Months Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Cloud Developer with a strong background in AWS cloud development and hands-on coding experience. This is a fully remote opportunity requiring occasional travel to Dallas for team collaboration several times a year. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, a strategic thinker, and an experienced developer who enjoys building cloud-native solutions rather than performing architecture or leadership responsibilities. Required Skills 10+ years of hands-on AWS cloud engineering experience within the U.S. 15+ years of overall IT experience preferred. Strong experience with AWS services, including: AWS Lambda AWS Step Functions Amazon CloudWatch Extensive experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Strong API development experience (RESTful APIs). Proficiency in Python. Strong Java development background with transition into cloud development. Experience working in cloud-native environments. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment. Strategic mindset with a hands-on development approach. Preferred Qualifications AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional. Experience building scalable, serverless cloud applications. Experience developing and maintaining cloud automation and deployment pipelines. Additional Information Fully remote role with occasional travel to Dallas several times per year. Candidates should be available for short business trips as needed. This is a hands-on cloud development role focused on coding; architecture or leadership experience is not required.
