About The Role As a Cloud Solutions Engineer at TRUSTEQ GmbH, you will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and managing modern cloud architectures for our clients. Your role involves transforming complex application landscapes into scalable, secure, and efficient cloud environments. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to analyze existing systems, develop migration strategies, and deploy innovative solutions leveraging microservices, container orchestration, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices. Your hands-on approach will be vital in building CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, and ensuring the stability and security of cloud infrastructures. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on challenging projects that directly impact our clients' digital transformation journeys, all while fostering your expertise in cloud-native technologies and DevOps methodologies. Qualifications To excel in this role, candidates should possess a completed degree in (Business) Informatics or a comparable IT-related qualification, with a minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in cloud architecture and development. Profound knowledge of cloud platforms such as Kubernetes and OpenShift, along with experience in hybrid cloud environments, is essential. Candidates should be familiar with networking, storage solutions, and container orchestration. Expertise in DevOps, GitOps, and CI/CD tools like GitHub, GitLab, CircleCI, or Tekton is required. Strong programming skills in Java, Kotlin, and frameworks such as Quarkus, Spring Boot, or Micronaut are necessary, along with scripting and automation experience using Ansible, Terraform, Bash, and Python. A high level of quality consciousness, a proactive hands-on mentality, and enthusiasm for technological innovation are critical. Excellent communication skills, the ability to present confidently, and willingness to travel are also important for success in this role. Responsibilities Analyze and design solutions for clients related to modern cloud architectures, ensuring alignment with their business needs and technical requirements. Develop and operate tailored cloud solutions in both cloud and hybrid environments, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation. Assess existing application landscapes and develop migration strategies to transition systems into the cloud efficiently and securely. Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and microservices architectures, utilizing Infrastructure-as-Code to enhance security, stability, and compliance. Manage end-to-end build, staging, deployment, and release processes independently, ensuring seamless delivery workflows. Provide remote and on-site consulting services to clients, advising on best practices, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing cloud operations.
