About The Role The Cloud Engineer 3 role at My3Tech Inc is a comprehensive position designed for a highly skilled professional with expertise in Azure cloud services, DevOps practices, and training development. This role involves developing, migrating, and maintaining cloud infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on Azure and Gitlab DevOps tools. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for creating and delivering technical training programs related to Azure cloud migration, DevOps pipelines, and Agile methodologies. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex cloud projects, develop automation solutions, and contribute to the growth of our internal teams through training and mentorship. The role is primarily remote but requires the candidate to attend an onsite interview and pick up equipment in Richmond, VA, emphasizing the need for local candidates. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, including virtual machines, storage, App services, Key Vault, and SQL Database. At least 5 years of experience working with Gitlab, including the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines. Extensive knowledge of DevOps principles, Agile software development lifecycle, and automation tools. Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Shell scripting, and automation frameworks. Experience in developing and delivering technical training and creating instructional materials. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud and DevOps issues. Effective communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences. Must be able to attend onsite interviews and pick up equipment in Richmond, VA. Responsibilities Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on Gitlab, Agile methodologies, and Visual Studio Code for internal teams. Create, update, and maintain training materials such as presentations, exercises, and lab guides to facilitate effective learning. Design, develop, and migrate Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage solutions, App services, and databases. Automate Gitlab CI/CD pipelines using scripting languages like PowerShell and Shell scripts, ensuring efficient deployment workflows. Develop and maintain ASP.NET and Web API applications to support business needs. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure cloud environments and Gitlab DevOps pipelines promptly. Maintain and enhance Gitlab DevOps tools and pipelines, ensuring continuous integration and delivery processes are optimized. Stay current with the latest advancements in Azure cloud services, DevOps tools, and related technologies to incorporate best practices. Contribute to the documentation of Azure cloud and Gitlab DevOps processes, standards, and guidelines.
