We are representing a leading organisation in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector in a search for a experienced Cloud DevOps Engineers. After already having success, we are looking grow the team further by an additional 2 heads. This role offers the chance to work within a dynamic team supporting mission-critical, cloud-native infrastructure in a regulated environment, fostering innovation and best practices across the technology landscape.
The key responsibilities include designing and developing scalable infrastructure tools using modern programming languages. The engineer will automate and optimise continuous integration and deployment pipelines, ensuring efficient code delivery. Engaging in architecture discussions, contributing to code reviews, and helping shape infrastructure standards are core parts of the role. Additionally, maintaining integrations across multiple services and managing messaging systems like RabbitMQ will be central tasks. Implementing comprehensive logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions to uphold system reliability and managing infrastructure through Infrastructure-as-Code tools while adhering to security and compliance standards are also key aspects of the position.

Flexibility in working arrangements is supported, with a preference for candidates based in Ireland who can attend the office part of the week as needed.
Suitable candidates will have a strong background in software development or infrastructure engineering, along with experience in cloud-native environments. Familiarity with automation tools, scripting, and distributed system architectures will be essential for success in this role. Experience in cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure, including container orchestration services like AKS
Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi
Practical knowledge of CI/CD processes using Jenkins, ArgoCD, or similar
Comfort working within Linux environments with scripting skills in Bash, Python, or equivalent
Ability to collaborate effectively in regulated industries, ensuring compliance and security standards
