Circles: Regional Lead (Part Time)

Accountabilities: Support local community groups by helping volunteer organizers define, plan, and execute impactful community projects while encouraging sustainable growth. Guide and mentor new local community leaders using established frameworks, resources, and best practices. Act as the primary point of contact between the broader organization and local community representatives, ensuring effective communication and support. Provide operational assistance with shared resources, campaign materials, logistics, and general guidance for community initiatives. Manage documentation, project briefs, reports, and updates to capture community achievements, progress, and success stories. Collect and analyze regional metrics and reporting data to improve visibility, coordination, and decision-making across communities. Attend local events and community gatherings to increase awareness, strengthen relationships, and connect new participants with initiatives. Create regular standardized reports highlighting regional activities, outcomes, and opportunities for improvement. Support the development of local networks focused on collaboration, mutual aid, and community-driven solutions. Requirements: Experience in community organizing, civic initiatives, grassroots movements, or similar roles, whether professionally or through volunteer activities. Strong understanding of community engagement principles, nonprofit or civic organizations, and the challenges of local collective action. Interest in decentralized technologies, blockchain, crypto, and their potential impact on society and civic organization. Ability to manage projects, coordinate activities, and maintain strong organizational processes. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with diverse groups and stakeholders. Strong autonomy, initiative, and ability to work effectively in a distributed and remote environment. Alignment with principles focused on community empowerment, individual freedom, collaboration, and social impact. Experience working with open-source communities, decentralized networks, or technology-driven social initiatives is a plus. Previous involvement with civic organizations, volunteer groups, community gardens, grassroots organizations, or similar initiatives is a bonus.
