AWS Cloud Engineer

About the job Job Description For our client we are looking for an AWS Cloud Engineer for a Long term project in a high performance team This role plays a part in a large AWS Project and works with a team disperces across Switzerland and a nearshore centre. Hybrid Office attendence is preferred and the client has two locations close to Zurich and Geneva Key Skills 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or a related infrastructure role. Deep hands-on expertise in AWS – including EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, and Lambda. Proficiency in Terraform, including module design, state management, and environment promotion. Solid experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitLab. Strong scripting skills in Bash or Python. Familiarity with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes. Strong communication skills with the ability to work autonomously and take ownership of complex problems. Ability to work on shift. Nice to Have Experience with AWS security tooling: GuardDuty, Security Hub, AWS Config. Knowledge of observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog. AWS Solutions Architect or HashiCorp Terraform Associate certification. Experience with multi-account AWS Organizations setups.
