Accountabilities: Architect, design, and implement scalable Atlassian solutions aligned with business objectives and technical requirements. Lead end-to-end delivery of new platform implementations, optimization initiatives, and complex migrations across Cloud, Server, Data Center, and third-party environments. Assess existing Jira and Confluence environments and define comprehensive migration strategies, including risk identification and mitigation planning. Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including system blueprints, integration designs, workflows, configuration standards, and data models. Build and maintain custom automations and platform enhancements using Groovy scripting, ScriptRunner, Python, and related technologies. Design and implement integrations with external applications using REST APIs, webhooks, middleware platforms, and DevOps toolchains. Conduct platform health assessments, performance tuning activities, and gap analyses to improve usability, scalability, and operational efficiency. Establish governance frameworks, best practices, and standards for configurations, security, permissions, and user management. Collaborate with business stakeholders, development teams, operations, and external partners to translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions. Provide technical leadership, mentorship, training, and ongoing support to internal teams and end users. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations are effectively maintained. Stay informed about developments within the Atlassian ecosystem, marketplace applications, emerging technologies, and certification advancements. Requirements 8+ years of experience working with Atlassian products, including Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Bitbucket, Atlassian Guard, and related tools. Proven expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-scale Atlassian solutions in complex environments. Strong experience leading migrations across Atlassian Cloud, Server, and Data Center environments. Hands-on expertise in Groovy scripting, particularly with ScriptRunner, and familiarity with Python for automation initiatives. Advanced knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, and integration frameworks for connecting Atlassian tools with enterprise applications. Deep understanding of workflows, permission schemes, custom fields, automation rules, configuration management, and platform architecture. Experience implementing and configuring Atlassian Marketplace applications based on business requirements. Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software delivery ecosystems is highly desirable. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and attention to detail. Excellent communication, documentation, stakeholder management, and presentation skills. Proven ability to lead projects, mentor teams, and influence technical decision-making in enterprise environments. Atlassian certifications such as ACP-100, ACP-120, ACP-600, or other Atlassian accreditations are considered strong advantages.
