Accountabilities: Plan, design, and execute automated regression testing scenarios across mainframe and low-platform environments. Develop, maintain, and optimize automated test scripts to ensure application quality and reliability. Validate batch and online processes in mainframe environments, including integrations with .NET applications, APIs, and services. Perform data validation and traceability activities using DB2 and SQL queries. Identify, document, track, and support the resolution of software defects throughout the development lifecycle. Produce and maintain testing documentation, evidence, and quality reports. Support system homologation, deployment activities, and continuous improvement initiatives related to software testing and automation. Collaborate closely with development, business, and support teams to ensure successful delivery of high-quality solutions. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Extensive experience with automated testing in environments integrating mainframe and distributed systems. Strong expertise in COBOL applications, including online and batch processes, as well as .NET services and APIs. Advanced knowledge of mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, CICS, TSO/ISPF, and DB2. Hands-on experience with automation and testing tools including Selenium, UFT, Postman, Git, Azure DevOps, Jira, and Jenkins. Solid understanding of REST APIs, SQL, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
