Accountabilities: Provide support, maintenance, and continuous evolution of corporate applications within IBM Mainframe environments. Perform corrective, adaptive, and enhancement maintenance activities for legacy systems and mission-critical applications. Develop, maintain, and optimize COBOL programs, including both batch and online routines. Investigate, analyze, and resolve production incidents, ensuring system availability and operational stability. Execute database queries and support the maintenance of corporate data structures. Participate in requirements gathering, technical analysis, and solution design activities. Produce and maintain technical and functional documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance. Conduct unit testing and support user acceptance testing and validation processes. Assist in deployment activities and production transition processes. Support integrations between Mainframe systems and distributed platforms to enable seamless business operations. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Analysis, or a related field. Solid experience working in IBM Mainframe environments. Strong knowledge of COBOL (Batch and Online), JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, and TSO/ISPF. Experience with troubleshooting, log analysis, and production support activities. Understanding of data modeling concepts and corporate data management practices. Proven experience supporting critical and high-availability systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously in complex environments. Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities.
