Accountabilities: As an Information Security Analyst, you will support cybersecurity operations by investigating threats, responding to incidents, improving security controls, and helping strengthen the protection of technological assets. You will work on proactive and reactive security initiatives, collaborating with technical teams to reduce risks and improve resilience. Support Security Operations Center (SOC) activities by performing specialized analysis, containment, and response actions for cybersecurity events and incidents. Conduct threat intelligence activities, Threat Hunting, and Purple Team exercises to proactively identify risks and potential attacks. Perform detailed analysis of security logs and conduct digital forensics investigations to understand and respond to incidents. Develop and apply automation solutions using scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash to improve detection, response, and mitigation processes. Assess technological environments to identify vulnerabilities and security gaps across servers, systems, and infrastructure components. Support vulnerability remediation activities and apply security hardening configurations to strengthen asset protection. Contribute to continuous improvement of cybersecurity processes, controls, and incident response practices. Requirements: The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in information security, cybersecurity operations, and technology environments. You should be comfortable analyzing security events, working with technical tools, and continuously learning about emerging threats and protection strategies. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Postgraduate degree, specialization, or MBA in a related technology or security area. Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, threat management, vulnerability assessment, and incident response. Experience with security event analysis, logs investigation, and digital forensics practices. Familiarity with threat intelligence, Threat Hunting, and security testing methodologies. Experience creating or using automation scripts with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar technologies is a plus. Knowledge of security hardening practices and vulnerability remediation processes. Technical English proficiency for documentation, tools, and cybersecurity materials. ITIL Foundation v4 certification or training is considered an advantage. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively in technical environments.
