About the job Responsibilities: Support the development and decomposition of complex system architectures using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies and SysML models. Define system functions, interfaces, requirements allocations, and interactions across multiple engineering disciplines and domains. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to develop, review, and deliver systems engineering artifacts and program documentation. Develop and manage Statements of Work (SOWs), ensuring alignment with technical objectives, program requirements, and customer expectations. Analyze and assess changes to requirements, scope, and program baselines while performing impact assessments on cost, schedule, and technical performance. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers to maintain program alignment and resolve technical and programmatic obstacles. Support verification, validation, certification, and acceptance testing activities across laboratory, ground, and flight test environments. Facilitate the implementation and adoption of MBSE practices within a broader digital engineering ecosystem. Provide technical leadership and integration support across engineering disciplines to ensure successful program execution. Support technical reviews, risk management activities, performance tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the system lifecycle. Requirements: Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline. 5+ years of engineering experience supporting systems engineering, architecture development, testing, verification, validation, or related technical programs. 3+ years of experience utilizing MBSE methodologies, SysML, Cameo, MagicDraw, or similar model-based engineering tools. Experience with systems engineering functions including requirements development, functional decomposition, system design, analysis, integration, verification, and validation. Experience supporting certification, acceptance, laboratory, ground, or flight test activities and developing technical documentation across multiple engineering disciplines. Knowledge of program baseline management, technical reviews, requirements management, risk assessment, and performance metrics tracking. Understanding of complex system architecture development and engineering considerations including reliability, maintainability, safety, security, testability, human systems integration, and mission assurance.
