About this role
The candidate will develop and optimize AI operations processes related to deployment, containerization, automation, and CI/CD pipelines. They will work closely with engineering teams to reliably bring AI solutions from development to productive cloud environments. Responsibilities include setting up monitoring solutions for productive AI services with regard to prompt performance, performance, AWS/GCP, and error rates. The role involves ensuring efficient cost control in AI operations, including cloud cost management, token optimization, and FinOps. The candidate will collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and IT to support the integration of scalable AI solutions into existing system landscapes.

What you can expect:
- You develop and optimize AI operations processes related to deployment, containerization, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
- You work closely with engineering teams to reliably bring AI solutions from development into productive cloud environments.
- You set up monitoring solutions for productive AI services with regard to performance, availability, latency, and error rates.
- You ensure efficient cost control in AI operations – including cloud cost management, token optimization, and FinOps approaches.
- You collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, and IT and support the integration of scalable AI solutions into existing system landscapes.
Your profile:
- You have several years of professional experience in DevOps and Cloud Infrastructure – ideally in the field of AI or Machine Learning.
- You have several years of professional experience with modern cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- You are familiar with technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
- You bring expertise in monitoring, observability, and incident management – for example with tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or CloudWatch.
- You work in a structured, analytical, and solution-oriented manner and maintain oversight even in dynamic operational environments.
- You communicate confidently within interdisciplinary teams and have very good written and spoken English skills.
