About the Company
Series B developer infrastructure company, ~90 people · New York · On-site, 4 days · $120,000 – $165,000 + equity
About the Role
Most graduate schemes park you on a maintenance ticket queue for a year. This one doesn’t have one. You'd join a 12-person platform team building the deployment and observability layer their customers run production workloads on. Go on the backend, TypeScript and React on the front, Postgres and Kafka underneath. You'd ship to production in your first fortnight, with a named mentor and code review from people who’ve done this at scale.
Responsibilities
- Join a 12-person platform team.
- Build the deployment and observability layer for production workloads.
- Work on the backend with Go, and on the frontend with TypeScript and React.
- Utilize Postgres and Kafka for underlying systems.
- Ship to production within the first fortnight.
- Receive mentorship and code reviews from experienced team members.
Qualifications
- Something you’ve actually built and shipped — a side project, an open-source contribution, a tool that solved your own problem.
Required Skills
- Solid fundamentals in at least one of Go, Python, TypeScript, Rust, C++ or Java.
- Curiosity about how systems behave under load, not just whether they compile.
- Willingness to be in the room four days a week, because that’s how you learn fastest early on.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with deployment and observability tools.
- Familiarity with production workloads.
