Software Engineer
Location: Manchester
Role: Hybrid
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Software Engineer to join a growing technology and transformation team supporting customers across Central Government.
This role offers the opportunity to work on interesting and complex projects, developing bespoke software solutions and delivering modern technology capabilities that help customers meet their operational needs.
The opportunity:
• Join an Agile-focused team delivering new bespoke software solutions
• Design, develop, test and implement high-quality software solutions
• Work with a wide range of technologies, with a strong focus on open-source libraries and components
• Contribute across the full software lifecycle, from requirements analysis and architecture through to implementation, delivery, training, support and maintenance
What we're looking for from you:
• Commercial experience working as a Full Stack Software Engineer
• Strong hands-on experience with Java
• Experience using TypeScript, JavaScript and React
• Comfortable working with cloud technologies, particularly AWS and Azure
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing and deployment
