In this position, you will be a key member in the Pre-sales process, working with the Account Executives and designing AWS solutions for our startup customers. What does success look like in your first year? You'll have owned end-to-end pre-sales engagements, built trust with startup customers, and become the go-to technical voice for our France-based accounts. 📍 Work location: remote from Paris If you are interested in this opportunity, please submit your CV in English. Key Responsibilities: Meet with customers, understand their business challenges, and design AWS solutions that address them, covering architecture, cost-efficiency, scalability, and security through Statements of Work (SOW) Analyze existing customer AWS architectures and propose improvement roadmaps Collaborate cross-team with different departments to ensure solutions are designed according to AWS best practices Build thought leadership in the cloud community by contributing to blogs, workshops, webinars, conferences, and more, representing Automat-it as a trusted voice in the ecosystem Travel both locally (to meet with customers, partners, and attend local events) and abroad (at least once a quarter) Requirements: 3+ years of experience in an AWS environment, designing solutions end-to-end 2+ years of experience in a technical customer-facing role such as Solutions Architect, Cloud Architect, Solutions Engineer, Customer Engineer, Presales Engineer, SRE, or equivalent In-depth knowledge of AWS's main services, with an emphasis on Kubernetes and Containers Experience designing infrastructure for high-scale production environments in AWS Certified AWS Solutions Architect – Associate Ability to effectively communicate technical design in verbal and written formats in front of customers Ability to lead an end-to-end engagement with the account management team Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French; professional proficiency in English Ability to work in a fast-paced environment What Success Looks Like in Year One: Customers consistently receive well-structured AWS architectures (SOWs, HLDs) that are scalable, cost-efficient, and production-ready Pre-sales support is a recognised strength, with direct impact on pipeline quality alongside the account management team You have represented Automat-it externally in at least one workshop, webinar, or conference, adding visibility to the brand Built and nurtured strong relationships within the AWS community, including startup teams and leadership, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor Why Join Automat-it?: Be at the Forefront of Cloud Innovation Join a global leader and AWS Premier Tier Services Partner.
