About the job Senior Platform Engineer (Infrastructure) USA | Remote $180K-$230K We’re partnering with a high-growth company building an advanced data and decisioning platform used in a large, complex industry. They’re looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join their infrastructure team and help scale the systems that power their core product. The role: You’ll work on the infrastructure and tooling that underpins the platform, ensuring systems are reliable, scalable and secure as the company continues to grow. This is a hands-on role focused on performance, automation and system design, working closely with backend, data and product engineering teams. What you’ll be doing: Building and improving cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines Automating operational workflows and improving system reliability Monitoring performance, optimising costs and improving scalability Maintaining observability and incident response processes Collaborating with engineering teams to standardise environments and tooling Supporting secure and compliant infrastructure practices What they’re looking for: 5+ years experience in software engineering, platform engineering or DevOps Strong experience with cloud environments and infrastructure tooling Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines Solid understanding of system design, debugging and performance optimisation Experience with containerisation and infrastructure-as-code tools Comfortable working with backend systems and APIs Strong ownership mindset and ability to operate independently Nice to have: Experience with distributed systems or high-scale platforms Exposure to data-intensive or AI-driven systems Familiarity with asynchronous processing and event-driven architectures Why join: High-impact role in a scaling engineering team Work on complex technical challenges at scale Strong ownership and autonomy Collaborative, global team environment Competitive compensation and equity
