The Senior Java/Angular Developer will design, develop, and maintain scalable fullstack applications using a Java (Spring Boot) and Angular stack. The role involves building and optimizing data flows and transformations, implementing ETL processes, and contributing to CI/CD pipelines. The developer will work within a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality software solutions and ensure performance, security, and and quality standards. The technical environment includes SQL Server, GitLab, Kubernetes, and automation of deployment processes. The position is based in Lisbon on a hybrid model.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable fullstack applications using Java (Spring Boot) and Angular
- Build and optimize data flows and transformations, leveraging SQL, PL/SQL, and relational databases
- Design and implement ETL processes and workflows for data integration
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation of deployment processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Ensure performance, security, and quality standards are met
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Fullstack Developer
- Strong proficiency in:
- Java 8+ and Spring Boot
- Angular
- SQL / SQL Server / PL-SQL and relational databases
- Hands-on experience with:
- GitLab and version control best practices
- Kubernetes
- Designing and building ETL workflows
- Solid understanding of:
- CI/CD processes
- Data processing and transformation pipelines
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimize complex workflows
Nice to Have
- Experience with:
- Apache Spark
- Liquibase
- DevOps practices and tools
- ArgoCD
- Vault
- JFrog
- Monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and Kibana
- Kafka messaging systems
- Experience in banking or financial services environments
