About this role
The role involves designing, building, and maintaining a modern platform infrastructure in a hybrid environment (on-premise and cloud). Responsibilities include standardizing and unifying Kubernetes and VMware-based platforms, automating infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), creating self-service abstraction layers for development teams, supporting CI/CD pipeline creation, implementing cloud-native tools and deployment processes, collaborating on platform architecture reviews and operational improvements, automating patching, monitoring, and lifecycle management, working with network issues including segmentation and microsegmentation, ensuring system reliability, scalability, and security, integrating and maintaining relational and non-relational databases, supporting asynchronous communication architectures (e.g., Kafka), and participating in implementing new platform services and disaster recovery mechanisms.
